How to Handle It (Workshop Checklist)

• Getting the Mix Right: Measure by volume—2 parts Resin A to 1 part Hardener B. Don’t eyeball it.

• The “Sides & Bottom” Rule: Stir slowly so you don’t whip air into it. Keep churning until all those foggy streaks completely vanish. Don’t skip this: You must aggressively scrape the sides and the very bottom of your bucket. If unmixed resin stays stuck to the plastic, it ends up on your wood as sticky, uncured soft spots that will ruin the piece.

• Let It Breathe: Before you pour, let the bucket sit for 5 minutes. This gives micro-bubbles a chance to rise and pop on their own. After that, pour it slow.
